3D-printing human skin

SkinPrint proposes producing human skin by means of a 3D biotechnological printer. iPS (induced Pluripotent Stem Cells) technology, which has the power to create stem cells from a hair for example, makes the "ink" for an organic 3D printer. Stem cells are used to create a unique skin, using the patient's cells. Patients can therefore make sufficient quantities of their very own skin graft.
