Cortechs uses brain-powered games to teach children with ADD to improve their attention. Zip and the Misty Mountain is a game for 6-12 year olds. With Zip, children use their brainwaves to learn how to master their powers of focus to help Zip reach the Grand Master at the top of the mountain. The more they stay in the attentive zone, the further they can progress through the game.
It's well known that children and young adults respond well to games. As well as diagnosing diseases or disorders, games can be used to treat patients. Netexplo Observatory has spotted several games that offer psychological therapy for depression, phobias or, in this case, attention deficit.
