What is it?

Gloves that let the user feel virtual objects. Dexta Robotics is a young
Chinese company founded by researchers from major universities
(Cambridge, Nanjing, Tsinghua). The 7 engineers have made a
prototype haptic glove that conveys the shape, size and stiffness of
digital objects in a virtual reality environment.

What difference does it make?

The many applications cover both the private (gaming, cybersex, etc.)
and work spheres (medical, manufacturing, etc.). The innovation blurs
the line between real and virtual.
